Many thanks to Lakes Bluegrass Festival and the town of Pine River, who hosted us in Minnesota style.

We so enjoyed meeting festival founders Tim & Cindy Roggenkamp, that we invited them onstage with us Saturday, and later joined them for their enormous “Super Jam” with other acts like Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers.

 Great grass, cool Northern air, good hangs, amazing ribs off the bone and sausage stew at the Roggenkamps’ campsite. Til next time, dear Minnesota!

Bluegrass has led me down many roads. Today it led me across the border of North Dakota, the 41st state in which I’ve performed, thanks to the kinds folks of HoDo Lounge and the famous town of Fargo.
