I grew up in Virginia, and I’m well acquainted with the fierce power of disruptive weather systems and their restorative beauty. I sought to capture this juxtaposition metaphorically, echoing many changes I’ve experienced in my life during this past decade.
GRAMMY-winning producer and Virginian Bill Wolf (Tony Rice, Grateful Dead) has thrown himself into this project with admirable heart and soul, and Friday the 13th is his “lucky day.” That’s aptly fitting for this project, which is thematically based on our symbiotic relationships with nature and with each other.
